Mainlining Doctor Who. Donna is more awesome now, I love how she treats the Doctor. Like Martha more now too. Am watching Silence in the Library. The planet makes me go to my happy place. The shadows are effing creepy damnit. If I wanted to be scared by shadows and giant insects, I'd have picked Spn [which I am going to mainline tomorrow. In bright daylight.] I don't want shows to tell me that fear of the dark is rational! If Sid creeps up behind me now and makes a loud noise I'd probably scream my head off. And then kill him. Also wake Mum up.

But still: AWESOME.

Daniel is really well written in this, it's interesting how SG-1 worries about how they're using him given they see him as a 14 year old but he was close to adulthood on Abydos. Follows the ep plots from S1 and onwards.

I love driving at night but occasionally I freak out and get all omg there are large groups of people hanging around, what if they're vampires waiting to attack me or those bushes are moving suspiciously, what if there're monsters?! and then I'm all windmilling arms of panic on the inside and about to hyperventilate.

So in order to feel like less of a wuss and more brave, I envision that I'm Dean or Sammy driving The Metallicar with AC/DC blaring. That's right. I upgrade Isobel [my Toyota Echo] or Mum's car [VW Golf] to the Impala and whatever ridiculously boppy music I'm listening to becomes Highway to Hell. And then I feel brave and awesome.

Shutup don't judge me.

Also, Sarah Jessica Parker is really fugly. I really dislike the makeup ads with her in it. Watching the end of shows like Backyard Blitz when they reveal the stuff they've done to the families makes me feel all awwwwwwwww.

HEE. Today morning was fun. :) There was much squeeing by me. :P

Well that was much fun! Aside from the half hour where Sid decided to be a dick and mum and I were all ::cold silence:: He was kinda grumpy all day actually. Probably to make up for the night before where I was pretty bitchy for most of the time whups.

But now we're home and all settled in and dear Gods the house is still really messy because I didn't get a chance to clean up before I left so I guess I'm gonna be spending Monday and Tuesday doing that.

Went to borrow out some movies and OMGYAY I FOUND JAG S2! *HANDS OF GLEE* It's so hilariously CORNY and Harm has HILARIOUS HAIR and the opening credits are so full of them being POSERY and Tiner is the Petty Officer and Bud hasn't even met Harriet yet and Mac joins in this season and I LOVE IT! \o/ [JAG and SG-1 used to be on after each other so I'd tape them both so yeah. Much squee. :D]

Sid borrowed the RCS car today so that we could go for a bit of a drive. We visited Sid's Phone Abyss* which was fun [and will probably be the case of very sore elbows and arms in mum and I tomorrow because we were trying to throw rocks into the very small all-the-way-down-there pool of water].

There was another small dam thing nearby and this caused much running around and taking of stupid photos along with climbing onto branches and avoiding Sid pushing me into the water. I got to drive yay.

We had lunch at the Broad Arrow Tavern where we scribbled our names down amongst the thousands and had the tastiest chicken burgers ever. They had a pool table so we played a [hilariously bad] game and taught Mum to play which was much fun. :)

We just went to The Little Boulder Sweet Shop and had Cherry Ripe ice cream and bought a bunch of chocolates and sweets. yum.

The driving around today reminded me of our numerous family trips to Kalbarri with Dad. I think seeing places is fun and the stopping randomly every time we see something cool, it's all brilliant, I love doing that. But most of all we love each other [sorry, Madeline flashback] it's the driving. The sitting in the back seat and staring out the window that makes the whole damn trip for me. Which is probably a little odd. But anyway. Watching the landscape go past is... weirdly enthralling for me. It makes me content. [Also, classical music is the best soundtrack to this.] Anyway, am all excited about the drive back.

*He visited there with the girls. It's a steep drop and in any case, when Sid [being the coordinated person that he is] dropped his phone, he juggled it three times when trying to catch it and when it landed, it was about 2cm from the edge. So they called it Sids Phone Abyss. I think the place is actually called Wendy Point.

SO MUCH LOVE/

AM IN KAL. HAVE SEEN GIANT HOLE IN THE GROUND. I really liked it! I thought it was hella shiny! And the trucks looked like tiny Tonka trucks but they had the wheels there which were huuuge so that means the trucks are actually huge but they look so small and and and yeah! Also I climbed the big yellow thing! And Sid gave me the 10cent tour of the town. Which consisted of pointing out the fast food places, the hospital, the bars/hotels and the sign which has the skimpies working that night listed on it. O__o

I loved the bus ride. Loved it . Staring out the window watching the scenery go past? So nice. It reminds me of all the roadtrips we took to Perth when we were in Geraldton. ♥

They showed Oceans 12 which was ok, nowhere near as good as its prequel. And then I stared out the window a lot. And ate MnMs. And then I decided that I might as well finish Dune but when I tried to pick up where I left off I couldn't remember what had happened so I started it all over again and this time around, it was fantastic. WHOA. So much more interesting when you read it all in one go. Want to read the next one now!

LOL we went to the only Indian takeaway here. The dude would probably make a killing, it's just stuff he's cooked at home or whatever but it's quite nice, not spicy enough, but still mmmmm...

I am currently sitting atop of four really large books in an effort to be tall enough to look over the front desk in Biol Sci because A took the tall chair I usually sit in. I feel like a munchkin. Except I feel so guilty about sitting on the books that I think I'd rather kneel on the chair than sit on the books. So now I look hilariously stupid but atleast I'm not sitting on books.

I really don't like H/Hr as a pairing because it doesn't make sense to me at all, it's a placing-my-hands-over-my-ears-and-humming-loudly kinda thing. This ficlet is H/Hr according to the author but I read it with R/Hr goggles on and it just reads as H&Hr to me. Lovely though.
